At QUINN glass we fully recognise that our customers require far more than just glass containers. In essence, over £300m investment is all about adding value, in terms of customer support, versatility, quality products and a first class service at a competitive price. Ours is a holistic approach, one that consistently delivers optimum supply-chain quality and service with consistent high availability and short turnaround times.
Working with design agencies and brand owners we can create photorealistic images, determine that bottle is fit for purpose and provide resin models to assist in the development process. Providing decision makers with the tools they require to move developments to market faster.

Following design approval we proceed to trial moulds and trial glass. The relationship we have developed with our mould manufacturer offers a quick response time. Our customer service department will produce a full line audit in preparation of the new container being filled, thus ensuring that the transition to new glass supply is as unproblematic as possible.
With 21 production lines all fitted with Emhart equipment to ensure we are totally flexible not only between different lines, but different colours and even different production facilities. Our plants are adaptable to the changing demands of our customers from single gob to triple gob production, for niche to mass market demands.
Furnace colours that are available throughout the majority of the year are flint, green, amber and mallaca (dark amber). With coloured forehearth technology at the Elton plant a virtually endless palette of colours are available with minimal run lengths.A wine bottle in Autumn Leaf Green, or a promotion of a pale blue mineral water. Just provide the colour sample and QUINN glass will do the rest. Click here to view our production process page and go step by step through the glass making process.
In addition to a wide range of colouring options available on the coloured forehearth, we also sleeve containers and provide pressure sensitive labelling on site. We also work along with our external partner to provide A C L decoration. Click here to view our decoration pages for more information.
The largest single phase built automated warehouse in Europe is central to the glass and filling operation. Holding 282,000 pallets, all individually racked, packaging integrity is maintained as pallets are not stacked on top of one another as would be the case in other warehouse. The high bay warehouse provides sequential pallet deliveries and is compliant to full track and trace legislation.
The warehouse covers 13 acres and if the 282,000 pallets were stored in a traditional warehouse the space required would be 60 acres.
In Derrylin we can provide storage for 125,000 pallets split between our Derrylin and Ballyconnell warehouses.
Elton is fully approved by HM Revenues and Customs to be a Customs and Excise Duty Suspended (Bonded) warehouse. This allows customers to store goods without payment of Excise Duty or any import taxes until they leave the warehouse destined for retail sales.
